Georgina Koomson is the CEO of Ideal Providence Farms, with over 20 years of experience in farming and agribusiness. Based in Ghana, she has specialized in the shea value chain since 2001, working with women’s groups in the Upper West Region. She led the certification of organic wild shea nut collection in West Africa.

A member of the Global Shea Alliance, Georgina is also the Chairperson of the Bio Ghana Network, promoting sustainable organic production. In 2014, she was named Greater Accra Regional Best Farmer and has represented Ghana at international trade fairs.

Georgina manages 150 acres of certified organic farmland and oversees Ideal Providence Farms, which produces specialty teas, spreads, and cosmetics. The company employs organic farming practices and supports 800 women in northern Ghana. Through her work, Georgina combines innovation, sustainability, and economic empowerment in agriculture.
