Gifty Hodey Manye is a prominent agricultural journalist, farmer, philanthropist, and agripreneur dedicated to advancing African agriculture. With strong managerial, leadership, and communication skills, she excels in project management and media operations.
As the Founder and CEO of Count On Crops Hub and the host of the award-winning TV show “The Ghanaian Farmer,” Gifty has made a notable impact in the agricultural sector. Her previous positions included communications director at the LIAMS Foundation and communication research assistant at the Parliament of Ghana.
Gifty earned her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications from the African University College in Accra and holds a Diploma in Journalism from Jayee University College. Her achievements include the 2023 IFAJ/Alltech Young Leaders Award in Canada and the Agricultural Journalist of the Year award at the African Women in Agribusiness Awards in 2023.
Gifty is an experienced moderator of international events who has interviewed high-profile diplomats, including the Country Director of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Ghana.
