Christine Esinam Kpodoviah Atange has over 15 years of experience in the agribusiness and food processing industry, beginning with her National Service at the Livestock and Poultry Research Centre (LIPRC). She has extensive expertise in horticulture and livestock, specializing in oyster mushrooms, vegetables, poultry, cereals, and small ruminants.
Starting with poultry and vegetable farming in Wayanu, Volta Region, her business has expanded to Adenta, Greater Accra, where she produces oyster mushrooms and processes fruits and vegetables. Christine aims to increase production and create value-added products like dried chips, smoked mushrooms, and dried fruits and vegetables.
Driven by a passion for food security and sustainability, she uses modern technology to improve food production and mentors aspiring women entrepreneurs. Christine plans to pursue postgraduate studies in sustainable farming techniques.
In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Christine serves as Executive Secretary of the Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association of Ghana (VePEAG) and a Council Member of the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE). She is a married mother of two and holds a BSc in Geology with Oceanography from the University of Ghana.
