Awudu Zakaria is an experienced result-oriented professional with over two decades of progressive experience in organization development and management, market development approach with gender and youth dimensions in programming, and people and volunteer management skills dedicated to grassroots development in Ghana. Since 2016, Awudu has worked as a Sector Specialist on the WUSC Uniterra project and now as a Senior Programs Officer for the Volunteer Cooperation Program. In this role, Awudu has provided technical and personal support to over 300 internationally skilled volunteers placed with local Ghanaian organizations.

Awudu has worked with local and International development organizations to design secure livelihoods and economic empowerment programs for rural and urban communities.

Awudu is conversant in conducting community needs assessment, action planning, business planning, and training methodologies for adult learners and local development organizations.
